Sanya Vats

Sanya Vats of Modern School is the new wonder kid in the world of Squash. She brought glory to the country as she was part of the winning team which brought back Bronze in The Asian Junior Team Championship held at Nepal in 2019. In fact, 2019 was her year as she continued to bring back laurels not only for the school but also for the country during the year.

She was a part of Team India which won the Bronze Medal at the Asian Junior Championship held at Pattaya in 2019. She brought home a Bronze at the Asian Junior Open Championship held at Macau in 2019. Not only this, she was ranked 5th in the World Junior Team Championship at Malaysia in 2019. Sanya was the Winner of the Junior Nationals in the Girls’ Under 19 Category at Chennai in 2019.

Mannit Singh

Mannit Singh has had a blazing run in Table Tennis tournaments through the year. In the Sixth Asian School Table Tennis U-18 Championship held at Vadodara, Mannit was part of Team India which won the Bronze Medal for the country.

He won the Gold medal in the Under -17 Individual category. He brought home the Bronze Medal in the IPSC in the Under-17 team category.

He was also crowned the Best Player in Under-17 Category in the tournament.

Parnika Bharadwaj

In academics, Parnika Bhardwaj of S5 D secured All India Rank of 11 and within Delhi, stood at the 4th Position at Aarohan 2019-‘20. Organised by BITS Pilani, Aarohan 2019-‘20 is a pan India School level Examination for students of Classes 9 to 12 (Science and Mathematics) hosted by APOGEE, the Annual International Technical Festival of BITS Pilani.

Paridhi Jain

Our student Paridhi Jain of S6H participated in Khelo India Youth Games, 2020 and secured the First Position and won the Gold medal on Uneven Bars. She is currently India Rank 1 on Uneven Bars in the Under-17 age group.

Divij Mehra

• In the world of Cricket, Divij Mehra of Modern School has been representing the school for 4 years now. He played in the School Nationals in the year 2016 and 2017.
• In the Vijay Merchant Trophy Tournament, in the Under -16 category, while playing for Delhi, Divij Mehra was the Highest wicket taker with 25 wickets in 5 matches and was awarded the Best Junior Bowler for Delhi by Kohli.
• Divij attended the Zonal Cricket Academy U-16 from North Zone, after which he was selected for Inter Zone matches from the North Zone team.
• In the Inter Zonal matches, he was the highest wicket taker for the North Zone team after which he was called for training at the National Cricket Academy
• He recently played for the Cooch Behar Trophy for Delhi U-19 where he was the highest wicket taker after taking 29 wickets in 6 matches.

Aditya Verma

• Won1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in the CBSE Nationals at Punjab
• Won 2 silver 2 bronze at the IPSC Swimming Competition in Raipur
• Won 1gold and 1 silver in the Nationals Archery Competition
• Won a bronze at the Delhi State Waterpolo Competition
