Headmasters

Ms. Anuradha Bahl assumed charge as Senior Headmistress in July 2023. She earned her graduate and postgraduate degrees in Mathematics from the Hindu College of Delhi University. She began teaching mathematics at Modern School in 1995, and is known for her dedication to the subject. She has also served as the classes XI and XII Academic In-charge.

She was the housemaster of Ashoka and Lajpat House for 15 years, encouraging students to participate in co-curricular activities for their overall grow gy-4th. She is a firm believer in providing students with an academic education as well as opportunities to help them explore their identities and acquire the skills, they need in order to become kind, self-assured, and conscientious citizens.

She is a passionate Physics Teacher and Headmistress of a Secondary School, driven by the belief that education has the power to transform lives and shape the future. She strives to inspire young minds to think critically, explore fearlessly, and develop a lifelong love for learning. Through the teaching of Physics, she encourages students to cultivate curiosity, scientific temperament, and problem-solving skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

As an educational leader, she is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and value-based learning environment where every child feels empowered to dream, achieve, and excel. She believes that true education is not merely about academic success but about building character, resilience, compassion, and responsible citizenship. By fostering innovation, collaboration, and a culture of excellence, she aspires to empower both students and teachers to realize their fullest potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

Ms Manpreet Kaur MSc. MEd. who has recently taken over as Headmistress, Middle Wing joined Modern School, Barakhamba Road in the year 1996 as a Biology teacher.

She embodies the spirit of Holistic development of students for which she has worked selflessly for 26 years. She has been the backbone of various world class events and functions showcased by the school over the years. She has contributed towards multiple activities for which school is known internationally.

Ms Manpreet Kaur has been part of the Co-curricular team for over 25 years. She guided House activities, Clubs and Societies besides Visual and performing arts. She created an Event Management team for the smooth execution of all school events. She continues to contribute to School Publications.
